Jeanne Smith has been painting for 25 years. After teaching college English for ten years, she is now pursuing her love of art full time. She studied art at Georgetown University and at the DuCret School of Art. She began painting her children when they were very young, and has been taking portrait commissions ever since. Smith's work has appeared in national juried exhibitions and has won many awards. Her paintings are in private collections from Seattle to Monte Carlo. She is represented by the Francesca Anderson Gallery in Lexington, MA.
