Barbara Morse teaches figure drawing from life using the 'Reilly System' of drawing. Her weekly lectures illustrate the forms and planes of the body and how to draw the figure conceptually. Individual critiques will show how to use these principles while drawing from the model. Students will learn that every drawing starts with a first dominate line. As in the academic tradition, having a step-by-step process makes things knowable, easier, faster . . . and fun! This class is for those who are beginning to draw the figure as well as advanced artists who want to draw with greater speed and accuracy. 8 weeks
